Daniel Mullineux
Managing Director
As the Managing Director of Bob Costello Associates (BCA), Dan leads our team with 23 years of experience across the breadth of the construction and M&E sectors. His career began on-site as an electrician for an electrical contractor, a role that provided him with an invaluable, grounded understanding of the practical challenges and technical requirements of our industry.
This hands-on foundation paved the way for his transition into professional consultancy as a Mechanical and Electrical design engineer. Today, his dual expertise in technical design and project management ensures that BCA’s projects are not only theoretically sound but practically deliverable. From the initial concept stages to final handover, he is committed to maintaining the high standards of technical excellence and attention to detail that our clients, particularly in the Heritage and High-Class Residential sectors, have come to expect.
Beyond his professional life, He is a dedicated family man. He has a passion for the outdoors and competitive sport, whether he’s out on the water boating, following all forms of motor racing, or on the rugby pitch where he remains an active part of a team.
Jackie McKitterick
Administrative, HR & Finance Director
With 17 years of dedicated service at BCA, our Administrative, HR, and Finance Director is a cornerstone of the firm’s operational success. Her career began as a bookkeeper for an agricultural supplier, a role that established her strong financial foundation and appreciation for the essential industries that support the region.
Before joining BCA, she built a diverse professional background in retail, customer service and management. This unique blend of experience allows her to lead our internal teams with a “people-first” approach, ensuring that our commitment to collaboration extends to our staff, suppliers, and clients alike. Since joining the leadership team, she has been instrumental in steering the company’s growth while maintaining the rigorous financial and administrative standards required for our high-profile projects.
A graduate with a degree in History, she brings an academic perspective that aligns perfectly with BCA’s work in the Heritage sector. Outside of the office, her family enjoys spending time sampling her fine baking skills and is a passionate reader with a keen interest in literature and international travel.
Steven Bailey
Director
As a Director and a key member of the leadership team at Bob Costello Associates (BCA), Steven brings 22 years of hands-on experience across the full spectrum of the construction industry. His career began on the technical front line as a CAD Operator for a Mechanical Services Contractor, a foundation that instilled in him a deep appreciation for the precision and detail required in high-stakes engineering.
Over the past two decades, he has evolved into a specialist Mechanical Engineer with a primary focus on project management. He is passionate about bridging the gap between complex technical design and successful site delivery, ensuring that every project — from heritage landmarks to luxury residences — is managed with rigour and clear communication. His journey from the drawing board to the boardroom allows him to offer a unique perspective, combining practical “on-site” knowledge with strategic leadership to drive BCA’s core principles of technical excellence and collaboration.
Outside of the office, he is a family man at heart and values quality time spent at home. When he’s not focused on building services, he can usually be found following his two main sporting passions: the high speed precision of motor racing and the tactical competition of football.
