A multi-million-pound development of a former farmhouse and outbuildings to create a luxury high quality residence, including separate guest accommodation in the adjacent ‘Dairy Cottage’ and a swimming pool within an historic grade 2 listed hay barn.
Bob Costello Associates designed and oversaw the installation of heating, ventilation, electrical, small power, lighting and communication systems. Site infrastructure was also designed, including the use of a borehole water supply and associated water treatment plant.
The finished home can only be described as spectacular and provides an elegant and traditional atmosphere with the discreet provision of modern levels of mechanical and electrical services and the associated technologies.
Extensive improvements were made to the estate landscape and gardens, to create an atmosphere more appropriate to a country estate, rather than a farm.
