Case Study: Riverbanks

The project comprised the design of mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) services for a new-build luxury residential property at Riverbanks, Shrewsbury. The development was designed to achieve a high-end specification, combining contemporary living standards with energy-efficient and discreetly integrated building services.

The project required a carefully coordinated services strategy to support a luxury residential specification, where performance, comfort, and aesthetics were equally critical. Space constraints within a highly architectural design required discreet integration of services, while ensuring ease of maintenance and long-term reliability. Energy efficiency and low operational noise levels were also key priorities.

A tailored MEP solution was developed to deliver high levels of comfort and control throughout the property. Low-profile distribution routes and concealed services were used to maintain architectural integrity and interior design intent. High-efficiency heating and cooling systems were selected to provide consistent environmental control, supported by intelligent zoning and smart home integration to enhance user experience and energy management.

Electrical systems were designed to support advanced lighting scenes, automation, and modern lifestyle requirements, while maintaining reliability and future flexibility.

The completed residence provides a high-performance, comfortable, and energy-efficient living environment, fully aligned with the aspirations of a luxury private home. The building services installation is discreet, robust, and designed to support both day-to-day living and long-term operational efficiency.
